Well, I've been in Georgia for more than a year now and it's starting to feel more like home. My studio is spacious, comfortable, and I have cranked up production. The Fall shows are quickly approaching and I am looking forward to introducing my work to a new audience of art lovers. South Cobb Arts Alliance - 22nd National Juried Art Exhibition (Aug 22 - Sep 28, 2009)
Located at the Mableton House Arts Center Gallery (5239 Floyd Rd, Mableton, GA). This prestigious event hosted by the South Cobb Arts Alliance will present 100 artists work from 15 states. Don't miss the award reception on Aug 22 from 7-9 pm. http://www.southcobbarts.org
Chastain Park Arts Festival - Atlanta (Oct 17-18, 2009)
The inaugural event should prove to be very successful. An art show that is "built by artists for artists" is always a welcome event. 100 artists are represented and I expect this to be one of the most interesting shows of the fall. http://www.chastainparkartsfestival.com
63rd Board Invitational - Central City Gallery (Jun 2 - Aug 14, 2009)
Sponsored by the Gilpin County Arts Association this regional juried exhibition in Central City, CO is always a must see and it doesn't hurt that it is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. http://www.gilpinarts.org
21st Annual Decatur Arts Festival (May 19-31, 2009)
This Festival doesn't disappoint. Numerous local galleries in Decatur, GA participate to make this an eye popping experience. (June 1 - I received a City of Decatur award and purchase of Red Tower. The City will display it in one of their buildings, let me know if you see it....)
